The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The results were announced on Monday, August 12, 2024, and students across the country are eager to know their performance. If you took the WAEC exams this year, here’s how you can check your results:

 Methods to Check WAEC 2024 Results

There are several ways to access your WAEC results, ensuring that you can check them conveniently.

1. Online via WAEC’s Official Website

  •    Visit the WAEC result-checking portal.
  •    Enter your WAEC Examination Number.
  •    Select the year of your examination (2024).
  •    Choose your examination type, i.e., School Candidate Results.
  •    Enter the Card Serial Number found on your scratch card.
  •    Input the Personal Identification Number (PIN) from your scratch card.
  •    Click on the “Submit” button to view your results.

2. Through SMS

  •    Send an SMS in the format: WAECExamNumberPIN ExamYear to 32327.
  •    Example: WAEC1234567890121234567890122024.
  •    Ensure there is no space between the WAEC code and your details.
  •    Note that only users of MTN, Glo, and Airtel can check their results using this SMS method at N30.
  •    After sending, you will receive a message with your results.

3. Using the WAEC Mobile App

  •    Download the WAEC mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
  •    Open the app and follow the instructions to check your results using your exam number and PIN.

What to Do If You Encounter Issues

If you experience any issues while trying to check your results, it’s advisable to:

  • Double-check that all the information you’ve entered is correct.
  • Ensure you have a strong internet connection if you’re checking online.
  • Try using another method if one fails.
  • Contact WAEC support through their helplines or visit a WAEC office nearest to you.

  50. Hi, please my dad wrote his WAEC in 1986 can it be possible to check and print it out online or must he travel to the waec office in the state he wrote his WAEC since he needs it now for something?Thank you.
