JAMB adds two new subjects to UTME.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has added Computer Studies and Physical and Health Education to the list of University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) subjects.
It is said that the inclusion of these two new subjects would make it easier for candidates to gain admission into tertiary institutions of their choice.
With this addition, there are now 25 UTME subjects, including Agricultural Science, Arabic, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Christian Religious Studies, Commerce, Economics, French, Geography, Government, Hausa, History, and Home Economics.
Others include Igbo, Islamic Studies, Literature in English, Mathematics, Music, Physics, Principles of Accounts, Use of English, and Yoruba.
The board also announced that registration for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry (UTME/DE) registration will commence on February 12 and last until March 19, 2022.
